TYPICAL FOG LIGHTS REFLECTION ON
SURFACE TEST
1. Ground
2. Focus point
3. Focus point within the marks
A. Mark at 415 mm (16-5/16 in) above ground
B. Mark at 515 mm (20-9/32 in) above ground
Proceed as for headlights adjustment
but use the front adjustment screw in-
stead.

Vehicle Body

Vehicle Cleaning
To clean the vehicle, do not use
high-pressure washers (like the ones
found in car washes) as they may dam-
age certain parts of the vehicle.
NOTICE
Do not clean the wind-
shield with alkaline or acid cleaner,
gasoline or solvent to avoid wind-
shield damage.
To clean the vehicle:
1. Rinse the vehicle thoroughly with
water to remove loose dirt.

2. Using a soft, clean cloth, wash the
vehicle with water mixed with a mild
detergent, such as soap specially
formulated for motorcycles or auto-
mobiles.
NOTE: Using warm water works well
to remove bugs in the windshield and
front panels.
3. While washing the vehicle, check
for grease or oil. You can use
BRP PLASTIC & VINYL CLEANER
(P/N 413 711 200) or a mild automo-
tive degreaser. Thoroughly follow
the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Dry the vehicle with a chamois or a
soft towel.
Vehicle Waxing
Apply only nonabrasive wax safe for
clearcoat paints on glossy finishes.
Avoid applying wax on matte surfaces.
Do not polish windshield with any plas-
tic cleaner/polisher.
WARNING
Do not apply a vinyl or plastic pro-
tector on the seat as the surface
will become slippery and the oper-
ator or the passenger may slip off
the vehicle.
