Q(U) characteristic
Action in this menu/meaning
 Confi gure power factor.
 If a power factor not equal to 1 is selected: Select the
type of phase shift (under-excited (u) /over-excited (o)).
 Press "2" to retain the following mode > edit charac-
teristic.
Off ers the option of resetting or editing the nodes.
 Press "1" to display all nodes in succession.
 Press "1" to activate default characteristic and a con-
fi rmation message is shown.
 By pressing "1" the individual nodes can be edited
This option defi nes the number of nodes that can be
defi ned in the subsequent menu.
• Grid type for medium voltage and low voltage: up to
10 nodes defi nable
 Increment P/Pn in % with key "2" and confi rm with
key "1".
 Increment cos phi with key "2" and confi rm with key "1".
 If a power factor not equal to 1 is selected: Select the
type of phase shift (under-excited/over-excited).
 After running through all selected nodes, all values
are saved by pressing "1" and this characteristic then
is checked for consistency.
In the event of an error, the characteristic that was previ-
ously active is restored and the error message "Character-
istic invalid" appears.
You then have the option of correcting the characteristic.
 Specify the target voltage.
 Specify slope.
 Specify change time.
