Replacing the high and low beam bulbs

Before replacing a blown bulb, make sure that the
replacement bulb has the same voltage and power as
that specified in the paragraph "Electrical System"
on page 146. Always check that the bulb functions
before reassembling removed parts.
Shown in fig. 86 are the locations of the low beam
(LO), high beam (HI) bulb and parking light bulb (1).
Headlight
To gain access to the left-hand bulb, remove the
cover (2) by pressing the lever (A).
Turn the ring nut (3) on the upper bulb body counter-
clockwise and remove the blown bulb. Replace it
with one identical.
When reassembling, turn the ring nut (3) clockwise to
lock the bulb.
To access the right-hand bulb for replacement,
proceed as described for the left bulb.
