Countermeasure
Adjust the sensor level.
If the platen roller is dirty, clean with the cleaning
kit.
For the cleaning of the printer, refer to
5.2 Maintenance of Print Head and Platen
Roller.
Replace the platen roller.
Check the interface according to the Interface
Troubleshooting.
Power on the device again.
Check the data sent from the computer and the
communication conditions.
Replace the main board.
Countermeasure
Use genuine media and ribbon for the printer.
If the knob of the ribbon rewinder is not set to its
initial position, remove the wound ribbon then set
the knob again.
Set a correct sensor type.
Install the print head correctly.
Adjust the pressure of the print head with the
head pressure adjustment dial.
If the print head is dirty, clean with the cleaning
pen. If a label is attached, remove the label.
If the glue of label is attached to the print head,
clean with a cleaning kit.
Do not clean with a hard object. Doing so could
cause damage to the print head.

Roller.
If the media sensor is dirty, clean with the clean-
ing kit.

Check the interface according to the Interface
