Chapter 2 Preparations

Remove Top Cover.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.6 Removing Top Cover).

Remove PCI riser card.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.7 Removing PCI Riser Card).

Remove the support bar.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.8Removing Support Bar).

Depending on the components to be installed or removed, follow the procedure in order.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.10 Internal Flash Memory (N8115-07)) to (1.20 Use of Internal hard disk
drives in the RAID System).
10. Install the support bar.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.22 Installing Support Bar).
11. Install PCI riser card.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.23 Installing PCI Riser Card).
12. Attach Top Cover.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.21 Installing Top Cover).
13. Mount the server onto the rack.
Refer to Chapter 2 (2.1.2 Installing the server to the rack or removing it from the rack (1)
Installation).
14. Install hard disk drives.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.25 Hard Disk Drive).
15. Install power supply units
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.26 Power Supply Unit).
16. Attach Front Bezel.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.27 Installing the Front Bezel).
This is the end of the installation or removal procedures for internal optional devices.
Continue the setup with reference to Chapter 2 (2.2 Connection).
