■ Transmitting an SDM

D General
The short data message, SDM, can be sent to an ndvdual staton
or group statons. Also, 8 SDM memory channels are avalable and
the messages can be edted va PC programmng.
D Transmitting an SDM
q Whle n the standby condton, push [P1] (Dgtal), then push
[ ]/[ ] to select the desred staton/group code.
w Push [P1] (Dgtal) agan, then push [
sred SDM.
Or, you can select the desred SDM usng [Status Up]/[Status
Down] key drectly.
e Push [P0] (Call) or [PTT]* to transmt the SDM to the selected
staton/group.
*PTT call can be made only when PTT call capablty s permtted.
• 2 beeps wll sound and the transcever returns to the standby con-
dton automatcally when the transmsson s successful.
