D Flexible antenna
Connect the suppled flexble antenna
to the antenna connector.
CAUTION!
• NEVER HOLD by the antenna when
carryng the transcever.
• Transmttng wthout an antenna
may damage the transcever.
ï Jack cover
Attach the jack cover when the optonal speaker-mcrophone s not
used.
When the transcever s used n a hazardous areas, ether the jack
cover or HM-138 must be attached to the connector. Falure to do
ths wll make the rado ATEX non-complant and may result n an
accdent durng use n hazardous areas.
To attach the jack cover:
q Insert the jack cover nto the
[SP MIC] connector.
w Tghten the screw.

To detach the jack cover:
q Unscrew the screw wth a
phllps screwdrver.
w Detach the jack cover for the
speaker-mcrophone con-
necton.
