D Special conditions for safe use
The equpment s an ntrnscally safe equpment. It can be used n
a potentally explosve atmosphere.
The equpment must be powered only by the battery Icom type
BP-227AX.
When the transcever s used n a hazardous areas, ether the jack
cover or HM-138 must be attached to the connector. Falure to do
ths wll make the rado ATEX non-complant and may result n an
accdent durng use n hazardous areas.
The battery shall be charged only n non hazardous areas.
The battery shall be changed only n non hazardous areas.
Ambent operatng temperature: –20°C to +55°C
