CENTER BODY PILLAR (CUT)

REMOVAL
Cut and Join
Location
about 15 mm
1. Cut and join the outer pillar at the location as
shown above.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the roof side
outer rail when cutting the outer pillar with a
cut grinder or such.

NOTE: Before performing these operations, place
a wet rag on the roof panel to protect it from dam-
age.

Heat the brazed areas of the roof side outer rail
and scrape it with a wire brush.
