Turn the transceiver power OFF
when connecting the HM-125.
NEVER mmerse the connector n water. If the connector
becomes wet, be sure to dry t BEFORE attachng t to the
transcever.
NOTE: The mcrophone s located at the top of the speak-
er-mcrophone, as shown n the dagram above. To max-
mze the readablty of your transmtted sgnal
the mcrophone approx. 2.5 cm from your mouth, and
speak n a normal voce level.

OPTIONAL SPEAKER-MICROPHONE

n Attachment
Insert the speaker-mc connector onto the [SP MIC] con-
nector and carefully screw t tght, as shown n the dagram
below. Be careful not to cross-thread the connecton.
IMPORTANT: KEEP the transcever's [SP MIC] connector
cap attached when the speaker-mcrophone s not n use.
Water wll not get nto the transcever even f the cover s
not attached; however, the termnals
rusty, or the transcever wll functon abnormally f the con-
nector has become wet.
Set the triangle mark
CAUTION: Attach the speaker-
to the front side.
