n Setting TAG channels
For more efficent scannng, add desred channels as TAG
channels or clear the TAG for unwanted channels.
Untagged wll be skpped durng scannng. TAG channels
can be assgned to each channel group
dependently.
q Select the desred channel to set as a TAG channel.
w Push and hold both [Y] and [Z] for 1 sec. to set the ds-
played channel as a TAG channel.
• " " appears n the functon dsplay.
e To cancel the TAG channel settng, push and hold both
[Y] and [Z] for 1 sec.
• " " dsappears.
 Clearing All Tagged Channels in the Selected Channel Group
Whle pushng and holdng both [Y] and [Z], turn power ON
to clear all TAG channels settng n the channel group.

n Starting a scan
Set the prorty scan functon, scan resume tmer and auto
scan functon n advance, usng the SET mode.
q Make sure the desred channel group
s selected. Move between channel groups by repeatedly
pushng [DIAL] for 1 sec. at a tme.
w Push [SCAN•DUAL] to start prorty or normal scan.
• "SCAN" blnks n the functon dsplay.
• "16" appears on the comment ndcator durng prorty scan.
• When a sgnal s receved, scan pauses untl the sgnal dsap-
pears or resumes after pausng 5 sec. accordng to scan re-
sume tmer settng. (Channel 16 s stll montored durng prorty
scan.)
• Push [Y]/[Z] to check the scannng TAG channels, change the
scannng drecton or resume the scan manually.
e To stop the scan, push [SCAN•DUAL].
• "SCAN" dsappears.
• Pushng [PTT], [16•C] or [DIAL] also stops the scan.
When receiving a
signal, "SCAN" indi-
cation blinks and
audio is emitted.
