EMM ID Menu

The Entitlement Management Message (EMM) ID menu allows for additional
flexibility in access control. It allows the user to enter a new EMM provider ID
number, when required.
Caution: If the EMM provider ID is not known, use the default setting of zero.
Press the  buttons until the EMM ID menu appears (shown below).

The ID Number field (range 0000 to FFFF) allows the user to change the EMM ID
number, which is represented in the hexadecimal format.
Press the 4 button until the cursor is at the ID Number label, and press the ENTER
button to move into the field. Use the 4 buttons to select the digit to change and
then, while the cursor is on that digit, press the  buttons to display the desired
value. Repeat this process for each applicable digit.
Press the ENTER button to confirm the selection.
Once a channel is set up, the user can verify the status of the channel. To do this,
access the Status Display menus by pressing the ENTER button to return to the DSR-
4550's main top-level menu (shown below).

Press the 4 buttons until the cursor is at the Status label, and press the ENTER
button. The DSR-4550 now displays the Status1 menu. Refer to "Status Display
Menus" on page 50 for more information on each of the display screens.
