Subcarrier Menu

The Subcarrier menu is used to set up standard settings used for analog manual
tuning. Press the 4 button until the cursor is at the SUBCARRIER label, and press
the ENTER button to move into the field.
Band Field
The Band field defines the frequency band type of the satellite to which the unit is
tuned. Press the 4 button until the cursor is at the Band label, and press the ENTER
button to move into the field. Press the  buttons to select the desired options:
C-band or KU-band. Then press the ENTER button to confirm the selection.
Gain Field
Note: The gain must always be adjusted regardless of whether or not the signal is
acquired through virtual channel selection.
The Gain field defines the audio gain (expressed in dB, range is -15db to 00dB).
Press the 4 button until the cursor is at the Gain label, and press the ENTER button
to move into the field. Press the  buttons to set the standard audio gain for a
manually-tuned analog signal. Then press the ENTER button to confirm the
selection.
L Freq and R Freq Fields
The L- Freq and R-Freq fields defines the subcarrier frequency for the left/right audio
channels expressed in MHz (range is 5.80 to 8.50 MHz). Press the 4 button until the
cursor is at the L Freq or R Freq label, and press the ENTER button to move into the
field. Press the  buttons to change the audio subcarrier value. Then press the
ENTER button to confirm the selection.

Alarm Menu

This menu allows the user to set up different bypass modes in case the DSR-4550
goes into an alarm condition.
Press the  button until the Alarm menu is located (shown below).
