SELF-DIAGNOSIS FAULT CODE INDICATION

When a system malfunction occurs, the fault code number is signaled by the immobilizer system in-
dicator light.

IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM
Cause
1. Radio wave
interference caused
by objects around the
keys and antenna.
2. Immobilizer unit
malfunction.
3. Key malfunction.
1. Signal received from
other transponder
(failed to recognize
code after ten
consecutive attempts).
2. Signal received from
unregistered
standard key.
Noise interference or
lead/cable.
1. Interference due to
radio wave noise.
2. Disconnected
communication
harness.
3. Immobilizer unit
