COMMENTS
These bits determine the compression capabilities
to be declared in phase B (handshaking) of the T.30
protocol.
(1, 1): Not used in this machine, because it does not
support JBIG.

to be used in the transmission and to be declared in
phase B (handshaking) of the T.30 protocol.

Do not change the settings.
COMMENTS
If this bit is set to 0, ECM is switched off for all
communications.
In addition, V.8 protocol and JBIG compression are
switched off automatically.
JBIG is not used in this machine.
Do not change the setting.
(0,1) - The machine will disconnect the line without
sending a fax message if the last 8 digits of the
received CSI do not match the last 8 digits of the
dialed telephone number. This does not work when
manually dialed.
(1,0) - The same as above, except that only the last
4 digits are compared.
(1,1) - The machine will disconnect the line without
sending a fax message, if the other end does not
identify itself with an RTI or CSI.
(0,0) - Nothing is checked; transmission will always
go ahead.
Note: This function does not work when dialing is
done from the external telephone.
Do not change the setting.
