Using This Manual

The following sections provide information and instructions to install, configure, and operate the
DCP501:
Section 1 Introduction provides a product description, the technical helpline, and repair/return
information.
Section 2 Overview describes the functions of the DCP501, the front panel display, rear panel
connections, and remote control features.
Section 3 Installation provides instructions on how to install the DCP501 and make the
interconnections to other audio and video equipment.
Section 4 Operation provides information about how to operate the DCP501.
Section 5 Troubleshooting provides troubleshooting tips.
Appendix A Specifications provide the technical specifications for the DCP501.
Appendix B TV and VCR Setup Codes provides information about programming the DCP501 remote
control to operate with the customer's VCR and TV.

Bold type
Indicates text that you must type exactly as it appears or indicates a default value
Denotes silk screening on the equipment, typically representing front- and rear-panel
SMALL CAPS
