Fast Motion Playback (Picture Search)

To scan through the disc when you are playing it, use the Picture Scan feature.

Press the (! or ") buttons when you are playing a disc.
2 Press the (! or ") buttons again to increase or decrease speed.

Press PLAY PAUSE
resume normal playback.
You do not hear the sound on a disc when you are using the picture scan feature.
Playback features arenot available during the opening credits of a movie.

Using the DVD Banner Display

The on-screen Banner Display contains many DVD playback features. Each feature is
represented with an icon. To view the DVD Banner Display, press
Press (< > ∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ ) to move through the different features in the Banner Display. When an icon is
highlighted, press SELECT
You can only access the Banner Display when you are playing a disc. In addition, the Banner
Display features are only available if the disc was created with that particular feature. For
example, if you select the
disc was created with multiple subtitle languages.

Press CLEAR or INFO to remove the Banner Display from the TV screen.
To view the Banner Display, you must turn on the TV and tune it to its Video Input Channel.
Se lect ing a DV D Titl e
Some discs contain more than one title. For example, there might be four movies on one disc and
each movie could be considered a title. To select a DVD title:

left/right (< < < < > > > > ) to highlight the

Press the number buttons on the remote control or
left/right and up/down (< < < < > > > > ) (∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨ ) to enter the
CURSOR
When you enter a one-digit Title number, you may have to press
the number (1~9) on the remote. Otherwise, press 0 first and the number of the track that
you want to view. Some discs only have one title.
