d. Before tightening the holder nuts, stroke
the front forks several times to make
sure of proper fork operation. With the
axle holder nuts loose, work the left fork
leg back and forth until the proper
clearance between the disc and caliper
bracket are obtained.
e. Tighten the axle holder nuts. First
tighten the nut on the front end of the
axle holder, then tighten the nut on the
rear end.

Rear wheel removal

1. Place the motorcycle on the side stand,
and remove both the top and bottom
nuts which mount the left side rear
shock absorber. Then set free only the
bottom end of the shock absorber.
