FOREWORD

The Operator's Guide and Safety
Handbook have been prepared to ac-
quaint the owner/operator or passen-
ger with this personal watercraft and
its various controls, maintenance and
safe riding instructions. Each is indis-
pensable for the proper use of the
product, and should be kept in a wa-
terproof bag with the watercraft at all
times.
For any questions pertaining to the
warranty and its application, consult
the WARRANTY section in this Guide,
or an authorized SEA-DOO dealer.
This Guide uses the following sym-
bols to emphasize particular informa-
tion.
WARNING
Identifies an instruction which, if
not followed, might cause seri-
ous personal injuries including
the possibility of death.

CAUTION
Denotes an instruction which, if
not followed, might damage the
watercraft and/or components.
NOTE: Indicates supplementary infor-
mation needed to fully complete an in-
struction.
Although the mere reading of such in-
formation does not eliminate the haz-
ard, the understanding and application
of the information will promote its cor-
rect use.

The information and components/sys-
tem descriptions contained in this
Guide are correct at the time of publi-
cation. Bombardier Inc. however,
maintains a policy of continuous im-
provement of its products without im-
posing upon itself any obligation to in-
stall them on products previously
manufactured.
Bombardier Inc. reserves the right at
any time to discontinue or change
specifications, designs, features,
models or equipment without incur-
ring obligation.
The illustrations show the typical con-
struction of the different assemblies
and may not represent the full detail or
exact shape of the parts which have
the same or a similar function.
Specifications are given in the SI met-
ric system with the SAE U.S. equiva-
lent in parenthesis. Where precise ac-
curacy is not required, some conver-
sions are rounded off for easier use.
A Shop Manual can be obtained for
complete service, maintenance and
more repair information.
