Connecting the Power

NOTE: If your ProLiant Storage System is equipped with a Redundant Power
Supply, refer to "Redundant Power Supply Option" on the next page.

CAUTION: Ensure that the voltage select switch is in the proper position
(115 VAC or 230 VAC). Failure to select the correct voltage will result in
damage to the equipment.
Set the AC Voltage Selector Switch to the correct local AC mains power
voltage (115 or 230 V).
Install the power cable on the storage system as shown below.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to your
equipment, do not disable the power cord grounding feature. This
equipment is designed to be connected to a grounded (earthed) power
outlet. The grounding plug is an important safety feature.
