MAC 00-00-00-00-00-20 attempts to start authentication, MAC address is followed by "(P)" to indicate the
port-based mode authentication.
MAC 00-00-00-00-00-21 failed to pass authentication, MAC address is followed by "(P)" to indicate the port-
based mode authentication.
Note: In port-based mode, the VLAN ID field is displayed in the same way as host-based mode.

Used to configure the 802.1X authentication mode on the Switch.
config 802.1x auth_mode {port_based | mac_based]
This command is used to enable either the port–based or MAC–based 802.1X
authentication feature on the Switch.
[port_based | mac_based] − The Switch allows users to authenticate 802.1X by either
port or MAC address.
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
