Method of Error
The protection device circuit checks continuity in the high pressure switch (S1PH).
Detection
Error Decision
When there is no continuity in the high pressure switch during compressor stops operating.
Conditions
Supposed  Incomplete high pressure switch
Causes  Defective connection of high pressure switch connector
 Defective outdoor unit PCB
 Disconnected lead wire
Troubleshooting
Caution Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector, or parts damage may be occurred.
Is protection
high pressure switch connector
(∗1) correctly connected to
outdoor unit PCB?
YES
Wait for 10 minutes after the unit
stops operating, then check the
following.
Is there continuity
in each protection high
pressure switch?
YES
Is there continuity
in lead wire?
YES

Troubleshooting by Remote Controller
Connect correctly.
Replace the high pressure
switch with no continuity.
Resistance in normal operation :
10Ω or less
Replace the lead wire.
Replace the outdoor unit PCB
(A1P).
