Appendix E: Assigning a Static IP Address to the ISY

If you wish to assign a static IP address to your ISY, please open the Configuration tab, then
the System sub-tab. Uncheck the "Automatic (DHCP)" box and fill out the fields in the
Network Settings section:

To avoid IP address conflicts, be sure to choose an address outside of the DHCP range set
on your router. Also be sure to type the correct Gateway and DNS addresses (typically
your router IP address), otherwise the ISY will not have access to the internet.
You can also configure custom HTTP and HTTPS ports on this screen.
If you check the "Automatic (DHCP)" option, the ISY will not use a static IP address but
instead get an IP address automatically from a DHCP server on your network.
