Matching the acoustic effect to the listening
environment (CONEQ)
The CONEQ (Convolution Equalizer) digital sound correction technology
allows you to select the suitable acoustic effect to your room.

Press [ 2 ] or [ 3 ] to select "CONEQ SET", then press
[ENTER].

Press [ 5 ] or [ ∞ ] to select a mode suitable to the room
environment, then press [ENTER].
CONEQ MODE1: For a room with an average acoustic environment
CONEQ MODE2 : For a room where sound is not echoed easily—
CONEQ MODE3 : For a room where sound is echoed easily—having

Setting Supreme EX

Supreme EX is our original sound quality enhancement technology and
is used for playing CDs and audio files or for playback using components
connected to the DIGITAL IN terminal.
Supreme EX works when "CD", "D-IN", "iPod", or "USB" is selected.
Supreme EX does not work when the sampling frequency of the wav file
is more than 48 kHz or when the input frequency for "D-IN" is 96 kHz,
88.2 kHz or 48 kHz ("SPRM EX" indicator goes off).

Press [ 5 ] or [ ∞ ] to select "SPRM ON" or "SPRM OFF", then
press [ENTER].
"SPRM EX" indicator lights up when "SPRM ON" is selected.
Adjusting the volume balance of the left and right
speakers
This function is not available while headphones are connected.

Press [ 5 ] or [ ∞ ] to adjust the volume balance for the left
and right speakers, then press [ENTER].
