Track numbers may not be displayed correctly for the following types of discs.
Discs recorded in Mix mode *
Discs recorded in multiple sessions
Discs recorded in mixed formats of CD-DA format and formats that are not music data
* Mix mode combines the CD-DA format with audio files, such as MP3 and WMA.

The explanations in this manual primarily describe operation procedures using
the remote control. If the main unit has the same or similar button names, they
can also be used for the operations.

Starts playback

Press [ 0 ] to open the CD tray and then insert the disc.
Label side

Press [ 0 ] again to close the CD tray.
"READING" flashes on the display while the System is reading the
information on the disc.

Press [CD £¥8 ] to start playback.
You can also start playback on the main unit by pressing [INPUT] to
change the input source to "CD", and then pressing [ £¥8 ].
To change the display information
Press [ DISPLAY ] repeatedly.
Each time you press the button, the display changes as....
Audio CD or CD-R/CD-RW recorded in the CD-DA format:
Elapsed playing time = Day/Clock = (back to the beginning)
CD-R/CD-RW containing MP3/WMA files:
Track number/Elapsed playing time = File format ("MP3" or "WMA")/
Folder number/Track number = File name = Folder name = Title (TAG)
= Artist name (TAG) = Album name (TAG) = Day/Clock = (back to the
beginning)
