iPod/iPhone

You cannot connect an iPod/iPhone to the System if it is in a cover, case, or with other accessories.
Always remove it.
Connecting an iPod/iPhone to the System without using the dock adapter may deteriorate or
damage the connector. Always use the dock adapter. (For some iPod models such as iPod nano 6th
generation, dock adapter is not necessary.)
Keep the iPod/iPhone on a straight position while connecting/disconnecting it.
Once the iPod/iPhone is connected, it can be charged.

Starts playback

Connect an iPod/iPhone.
Dock adapter (supplied with your
iPod/iPhone or commercially available)

Press [iPod £¥8 ] to start playback.
You can also start playback on the main unit by pressing [INPUT] to
change the input source to "iPod", and then pressing [ £¥8 ].
To change the display information
Press [ DISPLAY ] repeatedly.
Each time you press the button, the display changes as....
Elapsed playing time = Title (TAG) = Artist name (TAG) = Album name
(TAG) = Day/Clock = (back to the beginning)
To remove the dock adapter
When detaching the dock adaptor from the dock,
pull up the dock adaptor with your fingernail or a
sharp pointed tool using the slot.
Be careful not to injure your fingertips or damage
the terminal of the dock.
