Checking Internet Explorer settings for IBM SPSS Data Collection Survey Tabulation, IBM SPSS
Data Collection Survey Reporter Server Edition, and IBM SPSS Data Collection Author Server
Edition
After installation, check your Internet Explorer settings before running IBM® SPSS® Data
Collection Survey Tabulation, IBM® SPSS® Data Collection Survey Reporter Server Edition, or
IBM® SPSS® Data Collection Author Server Edition. The following changes may be required
to ensure that Survey Tabulation, Survey Reporter Server Edition, or Author Server Edition
runs correctly.
Enable pop-ups for IBM SPSS Data Collection Survey Tabulation, IBM SPSS Data Collection Survey
Reporter Server Edition, or IBM SPSS Data Collection Author Server Edition Web page (Windows XP
Service Pack 3)
The pop-up blocker that comes with Windows XP Service Pack 3may block some of the dialog
boxes in Survey Tabulation, Survey Reporter Server Edition, or Author Server Edition when the
default settings are used. This can result in the loss of all the work you have done in the current
session of Survey Tabulation, Survey Reporter Server Edition, or Author Server Edition. To
prevent this from happening, enable pop-ups for the Survey Tabulation, Survey Reporter Server
Edition, or Author Server Edition web page before you run the application.
From the Internet Explorer menu, choose:
