Horizontal Termination

The termination must fall within the area shown
in Figures 18 & 20.
A minimum of 36" rise is required either directly
off the heater or with the use of a minimum of a
36" snorkel.
Use a vinyl siding Stand-Off when installing
against vinyl siding. The termination cap must
not be recessed into the wall or siding. Do not fill
air spaces with any type of insulation material.
A minimum 10" x10" square hole is necessary
for proper pipe clearance through a wall,
provided the vent is positioned to maintain 2"
minimum clearance at the top. A 1" minimum
clearance must be maintained to combustible
materials around the other sides.
All horizontal terminations must also comply with
the
clearance
structures outlined in Figures 18 and 20.
Horizontal sections require a 1/4" rise every 12"
of horizontal run.
NOTE: For each 90
the allowable horizontal run.

At the minimum vertical rise of 36", maximum
