The message area can display one of these messages:
GPRS Not Available indicates that you are in an area that
does not have GPRS coverage.
Device powered down indicates that you have put the
AirCard into a very low power consumption mode
(page 50).
GPRS Available indicates that you are in an area that has
GPRS coverage but your account has not yet been authen-
ticated on the network.
GPRS Connecting indicates that the AirCard is "attaching
to" and being authenticated on the network. Your account
is being checked whether it is valid, and whether you are
allowed to use network services in your current location.
GPRS Connected indicates your account has been success-
fully authenticated on the network, and you can use the
GPRS network to surf the Internet, check your e-mail, and
so on.
As you perform tasks that involve data transfer, the num-
ber of bytes transmitted (Tx) and received (Rx) are dis-
played.

Taskbar Icon

Watcher displays an icon in the status area (which is usually
located in the lower right corner of your screen). The icon
indicates your connection status or notifies you when you have
SMS messages.
