Note: You must run Watcher
anytime you use the AirCard
710/750 network card.

Position your pen or paperclip above the eject hole, which
is on the top surface of the AirCard housing, just to the
right of the SIM card slot (left photo in Figure 2-5).

Press down firmly (but without excessive force) on the
eject hole. The SIM card should pop out of its slot.

Gently pull the SIM card from the slot until it slides free.

The AirCard 710/750 Software

The AirCard comes with this software:
•
An application called Watcher
the AirCard and monitor your connections
•
An application called the Network Adapter Manager that
allows you to switch between the AirCard 710/750 and
other network cards
•
The driver software that forms the interface between the
network card and your Windows operating system
The Watcher and the Network Adapter Manager software
should be installed before you insert the AirCard 710/750 for
the first time. Detailed instructions are provided in Chapter 3.

Configuring Your Account

When you run Watcher for the first time, Watcher will
automatically detect that a profile has not been configured.
Watcher will then display a window where you can configure
a profile, using the information that your service provider gave
you. This is described in detail in the section "Configuring
Your Account" on page 18. Once you have configured a profile,
you can use the AirCard.
