ADDING PARENTAL CONTROL TO CHANNELS

Parental control provides a PIN-protected access to channels. To lock a channel, from the channel list
menu highlight the channel to be locked and select the "Lock" button with the " / " keys and press
the OK key on the remote. A PIN entry box will be shown on screen, enter the PIN number using the
numerical keys ( the default PIN number is 0000 and can be changed from the Configuration menu).
Enter the parental Lock PIN, press OK and the Lock icon will be displayed next to the selected
channel. Repeat the same operation to remove the Lock.

CREATING / EDITING FAVOURITE LISTS

Favourite lists provide an easy way to group
programs in a customisable way. Five
favourite lists are available named as List1,
List2, List3, List4 and List5.
From the channel list use the " / "
buttons to highlight "Favourites"
button and press OK to enter the
"Favourite Lists" menu.
Use the " / "buttons to select the
favourite list to be created/edited
(List1/List2/List3/List4 or List5).
Use the (up/down) keys to highlight the channel to be added to the list and press OK. To add
further channels to the list repeat this procedure.
Repeat the above steps to remove the channels from the list.
Once complete, press MENU to save your settings.
Press the FAV key on the remote to cycle through the available favourites list (LIST1 to
LIST5). The PR+ and PR- buttons will cycle through the channels stored in the currently
selected favourites list.

INSTALLATION

The installation menu provides two different channel searches as well as the First Time Installation
feature.In order to access it, press the menu key then select SETUP using the " / " keys and press
OK. From the submenu select Installation using the " / " keys and press OK. Please note that
performing a First Time Installation will delete your channel list and reset every menu setting to its
factory default, however it will not delete recordings already stored on the hard drive.
