TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Attention!
Please avoid unnecessary risks. Never attempt to repair a defective – or seemingly defective – device

specialist. Any electronical device is possibly susceptible to errors. However not every error represents
a defect. Very often the cause for errors are faulty cables, connector cables/sockets or errors in
connecting the device.

POSSIBLE REASON
Mains cable is
not connected

WHAT TO DO
Check if the main cable is not
plugged into the power socket.
Check the Aerial and scart
connections. Ensure that there are
digital terrestrial broadcast in your
area.
Before unplugging your digital set-
top box, make sure it is in standby
- Press the standby key.
- Check if anything is obstructing
the front panel .
- Change the batteries.
Reinstall the unit with "First Time
Installation". The PIN number will
be defaulted to "0000"
Check aerial connections and
ensure that the unit is being used
in a location that where digital
terrestrial broadcast can be
received.
