Red bar: indicates the used space of the recordings on the hard disk.
Yellow bar: displays the approximate capacity required for the timers currently set.
Green bar: shows the free space on the hard disk.
SETUP
The configuration, language and Installation sub-menus are accessible via the setup menu
.
CONFIGURATION
This menu contains the configuration
settings for the DTR. You can configure
the settings of your set top box. Select
Configuration from Setup menu and press
OK to enter this menu. Press the BACK
button on the remote to exit.
TV TYPE
During the first time installation the type of
TV that the DTR is connected to is
chosen. This option allows that setting to
be adjusted should the DTR be connected
to another TV without having to perform
the first time installation. It is important to
chose the correct setting so that the
correct video format is output to the TV.
TV OUT
The DTR can output RGB , CVBS and S-Video signal via the TV SCART on the rear panel. Although
the RGB format results in a better quality picture, not all equipment can display an RGB signal. Please
check the instruction manual supplied with the connected TV for the correct setting to use here. Use
"3/4" to adjust this setting accordingly.
VCR OUT
The DTR can output CVBS (composite) or S-Video output via the AUX/VCR SCART on the rear panel.
Please consult the instruction manual for the external device connected to this socket for which video
format to select. Use "3/4" to adjust this setting accordingly.
FAVOURITE MODE
Use "3/4" to select the desired favourite list (please see page 14 for setting up favourite lists). To
cancel favourite mode change this setting to "OFF".
