FIRST TIME INSTALLATION

Use this option to load default settings, which had been set at the factory. To install factory settings,
highlight 'First Time Installation' menu and press OK key, then you will be asked to confirm deleting all
channels and settings. Selecting YES and pressing OK will delete the channel table. Selecting "NO"
and pressing OK will cancel the operation.

TIMERS

Timers can be used to set recording timer
for a certain channel and time. The
recording will start in background, using the
second tuner allowing continued watching
of a different programme during the
recording.
NOTE: If two timers are set to record over
the same period then only the two channels
used in these timers will be viewable.
In order to set a timer, press the TIMERS
key on the remote (or access via the
TIMERS option on the main menu) and
press the yellow button to add a timer. The
following options then need to be set:
Use " / " keys to navigate to select the below options.
Channel: Use the "3/4" keys to select the channel to record.
Date: Using NUMERICAL KEYS enter the date for the recording
Start: Using NUMERICAL KEYS enter the start time for the recording
End: Using NUMERICAL KEYS enter the end time for the recording
Duration: Displays the duration of the recording. This is automatically calculated after the start and
end times have been entered and cannot be adjusted directly.
Repeat: By using "3" / "4" keys, repeat mode is set to "Once", "Daily" or " Weekly". Using this option,
it is possible to set the timer so that it is repeated "Once", "Daily" (timer will record at the same time
every day), or "Weekly" (timer will record at the same time on the same day every week).
Playback: Change the playback rights for this recording "use parental settings" is default. There are
three possible settings as follows:
"Use parental settings": If this option is selected, playback will follow the parental control settings for
the channel recorded from. i.e. if the channel is locked and therefore requires PIN entry to view, the
recording will require PIN entry to view. If the channel is not locked, PIN entry is not required. (Please
note, changing the parental settings after the recording has been made will not affect the recording.)
"Allowed": Playback of the recording is allowed no matter what the parental settings for the channel
recorded from is set to. If allowed is selected the Enter PIN dialogue will be displayed. Enter the PIN
number using the NUMERICAL keys and press OK.
"Disallowed": PIN entry will be required on playback of this recording.
