Description
This sets the number of redials when the oth-
er machine cannot be connected to, for ex-
ample, when the other line is busy. Set the
redial interval in "Redial Interval".
This sets the redial interval.
This sets the number of times the machine
rings until fax reception starts when the re-
ception mode is set to Fax or Tel/Fax. The
number of rings becomes more than the set
number when the machine is in the low power
mode.
This sets the default dialing interval used
when the pause option is input.
This sets the scanning resolution to use when
super fine resolution is set for transmission.
When set to 600 dpi, the image quality will be
higher than with 400 dpi, but the machine
may run out of memory when performing the
transmission.
Select from "Auto", which automatically se-
lects the magnification according to the
length of the document being received, or
"100%" to have all faxes printed out at the
same rate of reduction.
This sets at what point the document printout
will extend to the following page if the docu-
ment being received cannot fit within the ef-
fective recordable area.
This sets the print method for received docu-
ments.
If this is set to "ON", fax transmission for mul-
tiple documents will begin in order of page
when it has been scanned and stored.
This mode enables any part of a fax that was
not transmitted correctly due to a line error
will automatically be resent. (The destination
machine must also have the same function.)
Do not set this.
By registering frequently used fax numbers,
you can enter a fax number simply by press-
ing a button.
Up to 40 digits can be entered for a prefix
number. Numbers, #, *, /P (Pause), and /T
(Tone) can be entered.
Prints the time that documents are received.
This enables you to accurately manage the
arrival time of received documents.
You can print a list of communication jobs.
You can select whether to arrange printed
journal reports in order of job or in order of
communication number.
