Verify that all items have arrived (Refer
to Section 3).
Carefully unpack the Swim Unit from
its boxes (Parcels 5 and 6). Remove all
hardware kits from inside the boxes. Cut
and collapse the two (2) cardboard
boxes, laying them on the ground for
protection while assembling the Wall
Mount Fastlane Swim Unit. Rest the
housing, base and grab rails on the col-
lapsed boxes.
Using a screwdriver, remove the two (2)
PVC hat channels running vertically on
the back of the housing. Each hat chan-
nel comes secured with two (2) stainless
steel screws. Additional stainless steel
screws are attached to the hat channel.
Remove the screws from the hat chan-
nels and set them aside with the chan-
nels for use in Section 9.8.
Using a screwdriver, remove the cover
of the housing by unscrewing the three
(3) 1/2" stainless steel screws located on
each side (six screws in total). Set cover
and six (6) 1/2" stainless steel screws
aside for re-attachment at the end of the
installation process (Section 10.4).
Remove upper grill from the front of the
housing and set aside for use at the end
of the assembly (Section 9.10).
Lay housing on its back (top grills fac-
ing up) on the collapsed cardboard.
Install middle horizontal grill by feeding
the grill into the 'C' channel located
inside the middle left of the housing and
pushing the grill into the 'L ' channel on
the inside middle right of the housing.
With the housing still on its back, locate
the pre-attached bonding wire on the
Swim Unit base. Feed this wire up
through the middle horizontal grill
inside the housing (about 4" in and up
from the lower left corner) until it comes
out through one of the turning vanes
above the grill. Make sure the bonding
wire is accessible from the top before
assembling the base.
Leaving on the collapsed cardboard for
protection, lay hydraulic hoses to the
side and slide the base and housing
together aligning the holes in the base to
the housing. Once the base and housing
are firmly pushed together, using a
screwdriver, attach the base to the hous-
ing using the four (4) 1" stainless steel
screws provided for each side (eight
screws in total) and two (2) 1/2" stain-
less steel screws provided for the front.
NOTE: Tighten by hand until snug.
DO NOT USE A POWER DRILL.

Stand the entire Fastlane Swim Unit
upright on the collapsed cardboard.
With the unit upright, run one hydraulic
hose behind the corresponding hat
channel removed in Section 9.3 and
place the hat channel over the hydraulic
hose. Using a screwdriver, secure the hat
channel over the hose with the eight (8)
stainless steel screws provided. NOTE:
Tighten by hand until snug. DO NOT
USE A POWER DRILL. Repeat for
the second hydraulic hose. Once both
hat channels are attached, pull the
hydraulic hoses tight and secure them to
the top of the housing using the green
hose clamps provided. To accomplish
this, unscrew the green hose clamps,
insert the hoses, and re-screw snugly
into the top of the housing.
Install the stainless steel grab rail using
the hardware provided in Parcel 6. Align
the six pre-drilled holes on the flange of
the grab rail (three holes per flange)
with six pre-drilled holes on the top side
corners of the housing (three holes per
side). Insert the six (6) 3/4" stainless
steel screws into the six pre-drilled
paired holes. Using a 3/8" wrench,
attach and tighten the six (6) self-lock-
ing stainless steel nuts inside the hous-
ing. At this time, be certain to affix
the end of the bonding wire previous-
ly fed through the housing and the
pre-attached bonding wire located at
the top of the unit to two (2) of the
screws before securing the nuts. Each
wire should be fastened to a different
screw. Do not cut off the excess wire.
Slide the upper grill (removed in
Section 9.4) back into the front of the
housing. On the collapsed cardboard,
lay the Fastlane Swim Unit on its front.
Attach the supplied wheels by sliding
the wheel axle provided through the
two (2) holes that are marked in yellow
on the sides of the intake grill. These
holes have been reamed to allow the
axle to pass through freely. Be sure that
all four (4) large PVC washers provid-
ed (two washers per side) are located
between the two (2) wheels and the
intake grill. Secure the two (2) wheels
in place on the wheel axle with the two
(2) supplied small PVC washers in
between the two (2) stainless steel, red-
threaded screws provided and the two
wheels (one screw and washer per
wheel).
Stand the Swim Unit upright and roll it
carefully to the pool for installation. Be
careful not to tip over the Fastlane
Swim Unit as it is front-loaded.

Questions and answers
How long can the Fastlane run? Single work out or playtime for the kids
The Endless Pools Fastlane can run for up to 30 minutes after receiving its last command, as the Power Unit remote control has an automatic timer that shuts off the system after that time.
