    Fastlane Sport Information The Endless Pools Fastlane Sport has been tested and certified by MET Labs, listing # E114906, and is evaluated to UL 1563 and CSA 22.2 No. 218.1-13. The Fastlane Sport is considered a “field installed accessory” through UL 1563. Individually, all electrical components of the Fastlane Sport are UL and or CSA approved.

    Choosing A Location For The Fastlane Sport The Fastlane Sport can fit into virtually any swimming pool. For optimal water flow, we recommend that there is a minimum of 12' (3,7m) between the wall in which the swim unit is installed and the opposing wall. It’s also recommended that the wa- ter depth where the swim unit is to be installed is at least 39"...

  • Page 12 Endless Pools Fastlane Sport Installation ® 3. With a minimum of two people, one person on each side of the swim unit, carefully lift the unit at the recommended lifting points and lower the unit into the pool in the desired mounting location along the pool wall (Fig. 9).
  • Page 13 Endless Pools Fastlane Sport Installation ® 4. Once the unit is in the desired mounting location along the pool wall, remove the control box from the deck plate by removing the screws. Mark the magnet hole onto the pool deck using a marker (Fig. 11).

Use one wrench to hold the bolt stationary and the other to tighten the jam nut clockwise (Fig. 15). Tightening the jam nut will expand the anchor, setting it in the concrete, to prevent it from spinning in the mounting hole.
  • Page 16 Endless Pools Fastlane Sport Installation ® 9. Use the provided hardware to assemble the magnet as shown in Figure 17. Tighten jam nut #1 to hold the magnet to the head of the screw. Loosely attach jam nut #2 and the washer.
  • Page 17 Endless Pools Fastlane Sport Installation ® 11. With a minimum of two people, carefully lift the unit at the recommended lifting points and position the unit in the mounting location. Align the edges of the deck plate with the lines marked onto the pool deck making sure the holes in the deck plate align with the holes drilled into the pool deck.

    Endless Pools Fastlane Sport Installation ® Housing Adjustment Locate the pins installed on each side of the housing. With two people, one person on each side of the swim unit, remove the pins from the adjustment bracket. Adjust the height of the housing so that the top of the housing is at the same level or just below the pool’s waterline.

    To be compatible with chemically treated water, Endless Pools uses a stainless steel wire (pre-attached during the manufac- turing of the unit) to connect the metal components inside the Fastlane Sport. The Fastlane Sport MUST then be bonded to the pool’s bonding grid using a #8 solid copper wire. The copper wire is not supplied by Endless Pools.

    PRE START UP PROCEDURE Priming Pump Before starting the Fastlane Sport for the first time, the pump MUST be primed. DO NOT run the pump dry. Running the pump dry can result in a failure of the mechanical seal. NOTE: It’s important to maintain proper water level in the pool to ensure the pump remains primed.

    Endless Pools Fastlane Sport Installation ® 3. With the tube still attached, close the air purge valve by turning it fully clockwise. Remove the tube from the air purge valve. 4. Reinstall the lid of the housing using the (4) #8-32 x 1/2" (13mm) Phillips pan head screws (Fig. 30).

    MAINTENANCE & SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS Water Quality Maintenance It’s important for the long-term operation of unit that the pool water be properly balanced per Endless Pools recommenda- tions. Pools using salt chlorine generators require additional maintenance. Water chemistry MUST be closely monitored.
