(3) Downloading firmware using the memory card

The procedure below provides how to download firmware from a memory card. A memory card can hold both the system
and engine firmware together for downloading them at a time.
Formatting the memory card
1. Turn printer power on.
2. Insert the memory card into the printer's
memory card slot.
3. Press MENU key on the printer's operation
panel and carry out the memory card
formatting procedure 1.
4. When formatting is complete, turn printer
power off.
5. Remove the formatted memory card from the
memory card slot.
