From Search screen display, select [BACKP] button to save a backup copy of the recording using USB
HDD, or a portable hard drive such as USB memory stick. The backup files can be saved as SFX, BMP,
JPEG, or KDB (KODICOM Data Base) formats.

6.1 Video Backup

[Backup Mode]
First select KDB, SFX Backup mode, use the mouse or the directional keys on the system to highlight [Backup
mode], then use the mouse wheel or the jog/shuttle to change the option.
[Start Time] and [End Time]
Select the start time and end time of the recording you wish to save.
To change the [Start Time] and [End Time], use the mouse or the directional keys to highlight button,
then click left mouse button or press Enter.
[Select Media]
Select the media to be used for saving backup.
When selecting USB or E-SATA, the [Format] button will be initialized. Push [Format] button when you need to
format the chosen media.
[Camera]
Select the camera number that contains the recording you wish to save.
When saving backup in KDB format, you can select multiple camera channels.
When saving backup in SFX format, you can only select one camera channels.
[Overwrite]
It saving continued from old data in saving data when saving over the calculate capacity of backup in KDB
format.
Supported for KDB backup only.
It needs for space of min.200MByte using the this function.
[Calculate Size]
It contains options for Recording time calculation and HDD size calculation.
An MByte is a measure of indication.
