6.3 Media Format
•
On Backup Mode to format external storage equipment (USB, E-SATA) or set partition, select the media
(USB or E-SATA) then click the [Format] button

Click [Format] button after selecting the storage equipment which you want to format on media list.
[Establishing partition ]
•
Select the storage equipment which you want to establish partition(s).
•
Check the [Partition Reset] button and set the partition quantity on [Total Partition Count]. And then push
[Format] button.

•
Media format function is not supported when external storage equipment (USB, E-SATA)
is set on recording mode.
•
Storage equipment format function is supported for only USB or E-SATA.
•
Please allow 5 seconds for the unit to recognize external storage after connecting.
•
When entering the Media Format screen right after connecting, the related info may not
be displayed on list.
•
[Total Partition Count] setting only works when the [Partition Reset] button has been
checked.
