(5) Connect a new battery cartridge to the battery cable connector.
(6) Insert the new battery cartridge into the scanner.

Route the cables in the space around the battery cartridge, close the battery cover, and secure it with the screw,
taking care not to pinch the cables between the casing and the battery cover.
