Internet Connectivity Checkup

PING to an IP address or domain name on Internet.

For Example:

C:\> PING 168.95.192.1 –w 5000

C:\> PING www.yahoo.com –w 5000

If successful, you are connected to the Internet.

If you can ping the ISP's gateway, but cannot ping a specific site (e.g. www.yahoo.com)

on the Internet, chances are, your ISP has an internal problem (DNS server not

available).
