This topic provides information to help you locate the connectors and components on the rear of your server.
Status
Solid off The system fans are operating
correctly.
Solid on (amber) One or more system fans are
running at low speed or have
been removed.
The server is running at a normal
Solid off
temperature.
Solid on (amber) The ambient temperature is below
7°C (44.6°F) or over 40°C (104°F).
Solid off The power supply is working
correctly.
Solid on (amber) The power supply is likely to fail
or has failed.

Check the BMC for errors and
run the diagnostic programs. See

Note: To identify the failing
system fans, check the status
LEDs on the system board. See
"System board LEDs" on page
56.
