Serial Ports

Two COM connections (COM1 & COM2)
are located on the motherboard. COM1
is located on the Backplane I/O panel.
COM2 is located next to the ICH10R
South Bridge to provide additional se-
rial connection support. See the table
on the right for pin defi nitions.

COM1

Video Connectors

A Video (VGA1) port is located next to
COM1 on the I/O backplane. Another
VGA connector (VGA2) provides front
accessible video display. VGA2 is
available on a 2U system only. When
VGA2 is enabled, VGA1 will be dis-
abled. Refer to the board layout below
for the locations.
