To view the file listing using a computer, use a browser such
as Internet Explorer 5.0 or later to open the INDEX.HTM files.
The JPEG files can be played back as a slideshow.
Note:
JPG images are recorded as field images, so that when they are
viewed using the normal image viewer, they are compressed by
1/2 in the vertical direction. Make sure that you view them using the
INDEX.HTM file.
When frame recording images are copied to a CompactFlash card,
the images are copied separately as two field images, so that
frame playback is not possible when viewing these images using a
computer.
Images that have been copied onto a CompactFlash card contain
codes for detecting file tampering, and these codes can be
recognized by computer software applications that can detect file
tampering. Contact the place of purchase for details.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

area or to a CompactFlash card
When the Digital Video Recorder is connected to a multiplexer

DM and Sony), you can copy images from a specified camera
that have been recorded by the Digital Video Recorder to the
archive area or to a CompactFlash card.
1) Multiplexer operation
Press the VCR button and display the split screen.
2) Digital Video Recorder operation
Specify the camera channel to be copied by means of the
procedure in "Selecting a camera image channel for
playback" on page 23.
3) Multiplexer operation
Press the camera select button for the selected camera to
display the images for that camera in a single screen.
4) Digital Video Recorder operation
If copying images to the archive recording area
Carry out the procedure in "Copying images to the
hard disk area" on page 34.
If copying images from the archive recording area to a
CompactFlash card
Carry out the procedure in "Copying images from the
archive area to a CompactFlash card" on page 35.
"COPYING" will be displayed on each screen, and
copying will then start. When copying is complete,
"COPY FINISHED" will be displayed.
Note:
If you copy images to the archive recording area of a Digital
Video Recorder or to a CompactFlash card without specifying
the camera channel with the Digital Video Recorder in step 2
above, all camera images from the multiplexer will be copied.
The copying function in this special screen can only be carried
out by multiplexers for which the Digital Video Recorder can
directly decode the multiplexer's ID information. The multiplexer
interchangeability list is given below.
A. Multiplexers that can be directly decoded
Sanyo, Robot, DM, Sony
B. Multiplexers that only allow decoding by the multiplexer
