Installation and connection

Unpack the automatic coffee machine.
Check the machine for possible damages during transportation.
While installing the automatic coffee machine, follow the hazard instructions given under chapter
"1.2 Hazard instructions" on page 2 and in this chapter as well as the following instructions:
Place the automatic coffee machine on a stable, horizontal surface that is waterproof and
heat-resistant.
Protect the mains cable from damage:
- Do not kink or trap the mains cable.
- Protect the mains cable from sharp edges, moisture, heat or oil.

Allow a space of at least 300 mm for removal of the brewing unit, for maintenance and cleaning.
Maintain a space of at least 5 cm at the sides.
