Chapter 1 — Using the PB21 and PB31 Mobile Receipt Printer
You can use the magnetic stripe reader to send information encoded
on a credit card or driver's license from your printer to your mobile
computer.
To use the magnetic stripe reader
1 Set up a wireless connection between your printer and your
Intermec mobile computer. For help, see
Printer to Your Network" on page
2 On your mobile computer, open up an application that can read
magnetic stripe data.
Note: The applications used to read magnetic stripe information
must be certified. Work with a third party partner to create a
certified application. Or, download one of the Intermec
Developer's Resource kits from
visit www.intermec.com/support/developers
3 Place the readable end of the card against the reader, facing the
media compartment.
4 Swipe the card through the magnetic stripe reader.
