Select "Information", or "Black". Time and status information will be displayed
when "Information" is selected, and the display will turn off when the telephone is
not used.

Press "Back".
Note: For DT690; when charging the handset and the screen saver is shown, any missed
calls/incoming messages will be indicated by a high contrast "new message"/"missed
call" icon. For DT692; when charging the handset and the screen saver is shown, no
missed calls/incoming messages will be indicated in the display. Only the Alarm shield is
displayed.

Select "Display".

Select "Contrast".

Step with the navigation keys to adjust the contrast.

Press "Back".

Set Time Format

Select "Time & Date" and press "Select".

Select Time format. The actual time format will be displayed. Selectable time
format:
• 12:00 (AM/PM)
• 24:00

Press "Select" to save the setting.
Set Date Format

Select "Time & Date" and press "Select".

Select "Date format", press "Select". Selectable date format:
• DD/MM/YYYY, i.e 17/09/2011 (also called Europe)
• MM/DD/YYYY, i.e. 9/17/2011 (also called US)
• YYYY-MM-DD, i.e. 2011-09-17 (ISO 8601)
• MMM DD YYYY, i.e. Sep 17 2011
• DD MMM YY, i.e. 17 Sep 11
• DD.MM.YYYY, i.e. 17.09.2011
• DD-MM-YYYY, i.e. 17-09-2011

Answering

The default setting for the telephone is to use the Off-hook key when answering a call.
The answering behavior can be configured to answer the call automatically, i.e. without
pressing a key, or/and in loudspeaking mode. It is also possible to set the answering
