2. Setting up the Scanner
Initializing the Scanner
If the SCSI ID rotary switch or DIP sw~tch settings have been changed whtle the power ~s on, it
is necessary to tmuahze the scanner m order to put the new settings into effect To tmt~ahze the
scanner, e~ther turn the power off and then back on again, or else perform the procedure described
below
Using an object w~th a thin tip, such as a ballpoint pen, press the reset sw~tch located
on the back of the scanner.
Doing so puts the scanner into the same state as ff the power had been turned off and then
back on again
