Focusing the Screen Images (Focus Adjustment)

PROCEDURE
Press the [Focus] button to adjust the focus.
The images may lose their focus when keystone correction and
sharpness are adjusted.

TIP
• If the surface of the lens is dirty or misted over as a result of
condensation, it may not be possible to adjust the focus correctly. If
this happens, clean or de-mist the lens. sp.103,
• If the projection distance is outside the range of 86 – 1473 cm (2.8–48.3
ft.), the focus cannot be adjusted correctly. Check the projection
distance.
Manually Correcting Projection Area Distortion

This projector is equipped with an "Auto V-keystone" function that detects
vertical tilt of the projector and automatically corrects the vertical keystone
distortion of the projected image when staring projection. Furthermore,
horizontal keystone distortion caused by tilting the projector horizontally
can also be corrected using the "Auto Quick Corner" function. Auto Quick
Corner is carried out when the [Quick Setup] button is pressed. s"One-
touch Adjustment of the Projection Area (Quick Setup)"
If you would like to make fine adjustments to the results of automatic
vertical keystone correction or Auto Quick Corner, you can carry out
keystone correction manually.
This projector is equipped with the following two keystone correction
functions.
• Vertical and horizontal correction
